Tour du Canada Time Trial

Race against the clock on the Tour du Canada Time Trial. Prizes will be awarded for the best times.

The Tour du Canada Time Trial is held annually in Canada. It is organized by Cycle Canada, The Veloforce Corporation. In the past the event has been held in the Kawartha region of Southern Ontario and in South Simcoe County, near Toronto.

In 2012 the event will be held in Alliston, Ontario, just north of Toronto.

Registration prior to the event can be made by mail or fax. We will also accept registrations on the day of the event. If you are participating in the Southern Ontario Cycling Rally (SOCR) registration for the Tour du Canada Time Trial is included in the fee and there will a sign up sheet at that event. The Tour du Canada Time Trial in 2012 will be held the weekend after SOCR..

If you are participating in the Tour du Canada Time Trial as a stand-alone event. You can register on-line, at SOCR or on the day of the event. You should assemble at the start point between10:00 a.m. for pre-race check-in (see Itinerary Link). The first time trial rider will go off at 10:20 a.m. Riders will be spaced a minute apart.

If you would like to extend your day we will have route sheets for recreational rides in the afternoon.

A Reminder: No drafting on a time trial. If you must pass, pull out two bike lengths back. Make a clean pass.

Assemble at the start point on June 3, 2012 at 10:00 am. for pre-race check-in. The first time trial rider will go off at 10:20 a.m.

• Entry Fee for the Tour du Canada Time Trial - C$15.00 per person. SOCR riders can register at SOCR and the fee is part of your registration fee for SOCR. Please note the Tour du Canada Time Trial is being held the weekend after SOCR in 2012.
